We were thrilled this last Tuesday when Michelle Willson dropped in with Sax player Scott Shetler to see the Gumbo Kings. Scott joined the band on stage with some sweet sax playing and Michelle had the crowd in a frenzy with a blues song about her dentist.Hot! We hope to see and hear a whole lot more from both of these fine folks. Michelle will be back with her own night (including Scott) on March 20th.

Scott returned to play with Alizon on Wednesday and will be here with many fine guests on Fat Tuesday – February 24th.

On Thursday Maurice Starr and Stephen Reeves of the Perfect Gentlemen dropped in and sang a few songs during the second set including a soulful R&B song that I think might be on an upcomming album.

Join us in celebrating Fat Tuesday with great blues, soul, and New Orleans music plus some pretty incredible food. This year we are planning Crawfish Etoufee and even a Crawfish Boil.

Cheryl Aruda performed last Saturday and gave us one hell of a show.  Here’s the first of two clips.  We should have the other up by tomorrow so don’t go too far.
