Country Music Star David Peterson will be joining us next Monday, June 22. This will be David’s only appearance in New England and you can see him for free while enjoying a delicious meal. Sometimes the stars just line up right I guess.

As most of you know we tend to stick pretty closely to Blues, R&B, and Soul music but David is an extremely talented entertainer and when he asked to play at Smoken’ Joe’s, well, what could I say.

He is playing with his band on these tracks but on Monday night he will probably play solo or with a sideman. As always there is no cover charge.

Well it has been a while since I published anything but there are lots of new happenings at Smoken’ Joe’s.

We have new items on the menu including Fried Oysters. This month we are introducing a new lunch menu designed to fit today’s budgetary considerations. Slightly smaller portions at greatly reduced prices.

Father’s day is coming up. What more could Dad ask for than a full plate of ribs.

July 11th will be our 2nd anniversary. Put it on your calendar now. Pig roast and all.

Starting in July we will begin showcasing new artists on Friday night. Shirley will continue her residency on Saturdays. We have so many new bands waiting to play at Smoken’ Joe’s, plus we think our weekday artists should have some time with our weekend guest.
